【把「窗」作為城市之眼；把「眼」作為城市之窗】

每一座歷史悠久的城市，都積累了豐富的文化底韻與其獨特的人文、地理風景，而「臺南」這座古城、府都，自然也收藏了許許多多的城市記憶與小城故事，當中有歷代先民奮鬥生存的痕跡，也有我們這一代人生活的點點滴滴。

而從過去到現在，從當代到未來的進程，我們又能夠運用哪一些更平實且日常的方法，貼身觀察臺南這座古城，並讓每個人都能為這座城市嘗試落下註解？

我們如何鑒古知今，又如何替未來續存當代的寫照？

窗像是一張張城市之眼，時刻映現著窗裡窗外的故事。

《百窗即景》應該是一場無邊界的展示，跨越地域與時間的界線，一扇扇窗景帶領我們穿梭古今，以新的視野，從窗裡、窗外看見你我各自的城市風景！

如若我們能把這些「窗」作為城市之眼，作為一種觀看與理解城市的實踐方法，而把我們的「眼」 ，也借作城市之窗，我們就能夠通過這些「百窗」 ，共同記憶過去、探索現在，並一起構築未來。

The "window" is the eye of the city, and the "eye" is the window of the city.

Every historical city is rich in cultural heritage and possesses unique human and geographical landscapes. Tainan, an ancient city and former capital, has numerous urban memories and regional tales. These tales encompass our ancestors' struggles and our current generation's daily lives.

How can we use simple and everyday methods to closely observe the ancient city of Tainan and allow everyone to contribute to its narrative from past to present and into the future? How can we comprehend the past, seize the present, and conserve a contemporary account of the future?

Windows serve as the captivating eyes of the city, ceaselessly reflecting the myriad tales within and beyond.

The Tainan City Exhibition, "Tainan Stories from the Windows," provides a unique perspective on Tainan's times and spaces. It uses a contemporary approach to history and showcases the city's views through different "windows."

These windows represent a way of viewing, a relative position, and a methodology for observing, understanding, and recording the city's essence.
